Sizerville State Park is a great place to visit. Only seven miles from Emporium. There are hiking and biking trails. There are plenty of pavilions and open picnic sites with barbecue grills.  There is a very large pool to cool off in the summer after a long hike or bike ride. There are many state parks in our area. We will eventually have them listed. The picture below is a link to Sizerville State parks website.

The Cameron County Fair Association has been working very hard in the last decade to make our fair enjoyable event. They have added attractions along with many different farm animals and some surprising exotic animals. The fair takes place in August so if your visiting Emporium in August don't forget our fair.

If you happen to be in Emporium around July 4th don't forget our firework display. For a small town, our firework display is one of the best around. There is plenty to do before the show too !!!  Food and refreshments are just the start.  Come to the Cameron County High School parking lot early so you can get a good spot to watch the show.
